More about Peter

I am a writer living in South East England. I mainly write poetry but I am also working on a number of writing projects which I hope to share with everyone very soon.

I love reading, watching films, listening to music, playing my guitar, singing, hiking, seeing friends, eating out and cooking - especially Italian food and anything with chocolate in. In fact, I need chocolate like a car needs fuel. I can't go more than a couple of days without it. The darker the better.

Since graduating with a degree in Creative Writing from Bath Spa University I have been shortlisted for the Academy of children's Writers Write a Story for Children Competition. I have had two winning poems in the August Micro-fiction Showcase 2007 held by Fish Publishing and published in their 2008 Anthology Harlem Street Blues. Most recently two of my poems were chosen by Michael Rosen (Children's Laureate 2007 - 2009) to be featured in his anthology published by Puffin entitled: Michael Rosen's A-Z: The Best Children's Poetry from Agard to Zephaniah.
